In the Content box I'm looking for the headers like "Projects, Themes, and Showcase" like they have on this site.

But whenever I create one all that happenes is an extra dot appears and my text doesn't.

Take a look www.pspzone.mfhosting.com/smf/index.php

ItÂÃ,´s easyer to get an overview if you copy the code you have to an editor.
It seems like you have double up in the linkstring to where the bullit "dot" is.

I'm sorry-- I'm not wuite sure what you mean...

Here's what I have right now:

bloc

It would seem there is a mixup between files..did you update TP0.8.6 wit the the updated files posted lately?

PSPXavier

hehe...no

But I just did, and I still have the problem...

Any ideas why?

bloc

I think it might be the Neptune theme....if you rename TPortalBlocks.template inside Neptune folder to something else, does the error still appear?

No it fixed it! yaaa!

But now all my other blocks are screwed up....

Why would canging the name fix one thing and screw up (many) others?

IchBin

It might help us if you tell us what "screwed up" means.... ?

Ohh-- sorry..... But everything went different...I have new blocks, some are missing, and settings are changed like the shoutbox scrolling automatically. Before it didn't show things like "modules"(since I just have a Downloads link in the menu) or "Post a article... or any of the "manage" things under the User block.

IchBin

That is weird. It should have that kind of affect. AFAIK all those settings are stored in the database. Are these things you can fix in TPAdmin?

I'm not sure that all of them are.....For some reason the search box looks different to me. I don't really need the headers, and I'm just as baffled as you are...I think I may just switch it back..

Edit: Yeah-- that's really weird, I changed the name back and everythings back to normal... ???

bloc

lol ..and now the confusion is complete... ;)

What you was seing when you renamed the file, was what the bars SHOULD look like contentwise, Neptune has a slightly different TPortalBlocks.template. Its basically the older one used in previous versions of TP. Removing it ( or renaming ) will make TP fallback on default theme's TPortalBlocks.template with all the new things.

But Neptune has changed it for itself because of its look, so naturally the fallback look a bit strange on Neptune then.

How about exchanging Neptune's TPortalBlocks.template with this one?
