Apologies for asking this. I had a look at the FAQ and it states here that I do not need to change my current theme.

However when I clicked apply mod thru the package manager (TP version 1.0.6 beta 2) with SMF 1.1.7 running, I noticed that the files that were going to be modified, did not include the current theme that I was using. I got cold feet and backed off for the time being!!  :(

Do I then have to make manual edits to my current theme? Also I noticed that the theme that I am using (ApolloBB) has a TP version for download. Does  that imply that once I install TP, I'll have to upload the TP version of my theme and edit it to suit my needs.?

Thanks.

IchBin

TP 1.x does not require the edits that TP 0.9.8 does. It only requires a forum button if one is not in the theme. You should use the regular SMF theme (not the TP one) for TP 1.x.

By default SMF only modifies the default theme when installing ALL mods. If a mod does not work in your theme, then you have to install it manually to the files that your theme contains.

Thanks for the response IchBin. Understood.

Okay, I'll dive in head long and see what happens.

Okay so I went ahead and installed it!!!

Brand new install with SMF 1.1.7 with the following mods:-

1) Add IP2Location to Track IP    1.2
2)TinyPortal    1.063
3)SMF Media Gallery    1.5.1
4)Anti-Spam Verification Questions

Using Adagio theme and added the Gallery Button with no problems. There are no members yet to further mess it up yet!!

However, here is the error log:

Quote2: fclose(): supplied argument is not a valid stream resource
File: /forum/Sources/TPmodules.php
Line: 1330

Quote2: fopen() [<a href='function.fopen'>function.fopen</a>]: URL file-access is disabled in the server configuration

Has that something to do with the RSS feed?

Any help appreciated. Thank you.

The errors are all related to permission issues on your server.
You need to contact your host and ask them to change the fopen settings and allow it on the server.

Okay thanks G6. I am using a free host (co.cc) and I doubt they will do it but I'll try anyway. Good thing that I am testing things out and getting a feel of the problems before I go live on the main website.

Thanks once again.
