If you always install mods via ACP this error will not occour.

im lost.. thought that the admin area, and upload modules, or packages is where you are supposed to upload at.. Are you doing it manual?

yes, i have extacted the files to my SMF Directory maually.

for the mods?? why not use the manager? and if you extract them manually, are you manually adding the edits to each theme, the 3 core themes and then to any custom? i would go back over your edits if this is the case. you shouldnt have any errors at all.
