Articles in a Category block Issues

Problem: can not sort articles in a "articles in a category" block
Related Error messages: none

I have 9 articles in a category and the "articles in a category" block on the left. The articles will display when I click, but how can I change the order of the articles in the block? I thought by changing the pos numbers but that does not seem to make a difference. I had to delete them all and create them in the order I wanted them to show up.

I'm not sure how that block code is setup, but if you ask Fussilet in that topic or post this question in that topic someone might be able to tell you what you need to do to sort them in the order you want to.  The articles are probably sorted by Article ID# but I'm not sure.  If you want to ask about that, post a message in that topic located here I believe --> http://www.tinyportal.net/index.php/topic,28437.msg226430.html#msg226430

Also, if they are sorted by ID it would be a simple matter to go into your database with phpAdmin and reorder the articles the way you want them.

Thanks for the reply. In the meantime I decided to change it to a "show menu" block for now until things can be sorted (ah pun) out. Ahh yea, reorder from database, thanks.
