What happened to the "read more" link?

Hi:

A couple of versions of TP ago, forum posts that were fed to the front page contained a " read more" link (or something similar) to the rest of the post if it ran over a certain length.  At some point that feature disappeared.  Will it come back, or am I doing something wrong?

Forum posts still do that AFAIK.

Well it sounds like the read more... link doesn't like you then. You'll need to post all the info you can about your setup if you'd like some help. Please follow the posting guidelines.

That's okay - I found a workaround someone posted in this thread.  I didn't do a very good job of searching before.

I'll post a feature request asking that the code be put back in before the next release.
