Has anyone had any problem's uploading a fresh copy of SMF with Fantastico, i've just done it on my hosting and I keep getting error's and cannot see SMF at all but I know it's a new copy of SMF i've just put on.

Any help???

Trying to put SMF 1.0.5 on had it working 3 day's ago but all my hosting are having problem's with New forum's being put on.

I used Fantastico to install a seperate (SMF/Test) Dir, and it was fine. I use that one to mess with themes and test stuff. No problems installing at all.

Could be your hosts? Also check your disc space. It will get eaten up pretty fast.

Disk space unlimited i think it might be my hosting but they say NO it's SMF but I've just installed a new copy on one of my hosting so I could do some test's and it worked so I uploaded my backup and that is working but it's not on the right hosting or I would leave it there working so still down to the hosting I'm using or PHP, 4.4.0 I've just been informed there could be a problem there?? not sure as I don't know that much.

Thanks for the reply.

I do believe there is a compatability update for php 4.4.0.

I'm just uploading the new code for it to my forum hopefully that will get it to work, sometime's you see what you should do but 99.9% of the time you do nothing about it and that's what I did.

thanks everyone.
