you have got 2 option's with youtube
this link:
<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/2BEh0nfuNrQ"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/2BEh0nfuNrQ"
type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>

and this one: http://www.youtube.com/v/2BEh0nfuNrQ

i believe u can use the flash movie bcc tag for this

if that dosent work ull have to install the streaming mod from smf

Ken.

When showing a youtube vid in a post I just use the html tags like so:
<object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/2BEh0nfuNrQ"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/2BEh0nfuNrQ"
type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>
There is a mod over on the SMF website called Streaming 3, I believe..   You can add youtube, google and one other that I can't think of yet.

Here is the link:    http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=32951.0

Try that one out.

Kwastie

dont allow usage of html tags in forum

It is a known issue with IPB and vBalready and identified as a security risk. I dont know why SMF has not mentioned it yet...but basically allowing HTML means that a user with knowledge can run a script in a thread which would then lead to peoples passwords being stolen

the main reason HTML tags are left there for use are usually by admins and mods and should not be allowed for normal members

So stay safe and dont allow HTML tags
