Maybe when aku's around, he'll add this to his Block code snippets index topic.

*hint hint

For sure.  With all of Aku snippets, my site is gonna be a mini Path-to-Peace    :buck2:  Maybe I'll just make Aku admin so I take a vacation    :2funny:
Well aku is an admin on my site. lol :2funny:

he is?  hahahahah, i'm not surprised!      Aku, I can't tap my head and rub my belly at the same time, can you admin my site   ;D

Really what happened is he just joined my website and I said well he's very helpful and knows code. So @DING@DING he became admin.

Anyway that is all offtopic to this :2funny:

So how do you all like this block snippet?

A long time ago i did some modification to my forum so that guest's can't see links and pictures.

So instead of seing a link the guest will see a little text asking him to sign up or log in.

So i can't use this cool snippet because snapview can't see the links.   :'(

I think the snippet is way to cool and i might use it for some links i will have on a seperate page. But thats somewhere out in the future  :)

However snap recommends putting the code just before the </head> tag. I have manually done so.

brianjw

Fine with me! But it works well in body tags as well. And i think it's easier than modifying each of my themes index.template.php's to do so. ;)

rctxtreme

When I said manually I meant modifying index.template.php

knat

Why not just put it in a block ? That way you can have it on all themes.. and you can turn it on/off.. and you can select what sections to show snapview.

Basicly Blocks are all you need  :)

I read this topic AFTER adding Snap Preview :P

I have become comfortably numb!

It's very easy! I recommend using it so it will show up in all pages in your forum, exluding the profile, PM, and admin. :)
If you only wanting it show in one area (action) than you would just add the correct settings into the block. ;)
