Tip/Trick - Browser Size
« on: October 26, 2006, 05:17:01 AM »

Hi all. :)

I never knew you could do this, but if you want to see what your browser screen looks like in a different resolution go to a webpage you'd like to see at a different resolution than yours is, replace the url field text with this bit of Jscript code and press enter:
Quote
javascript:window.resizeTo(640, 480);
  - or whatever size you want:
Quote
javascript:window.resizeTo(1084, 960);
- my screen size:
Quote
javascript:window.resizeTo(1280, 1024);

 -- i thought it was cool to know you can do this.  O0
I have become comfortably numb!

but do keep in mind - dont use this to test ACTUAL screen res...cos actual screen res can only be changed from ur computer properties screen

that way it changes everything including pixel spacing, depth and color usage :up:
