I know Grudge made it and that hes gone frome smf and it has not been updated to work with 1.1 rc, it does install and work but with the techhead and Helios theme the scroll jerks and stops and ist not smooth, so i have this other idea of just calling the shoubox archive instead off a menu. I place the following code in my index.template.php for techhead which worked:

echo '
<img src="', $settings['images_url'], '/mydot1.gif" alt="" style="margin-right: 5px;" align="bottom" />
a href="http://www.thefallensoldiers.com/smf11/index.php?action=shout_archive" target="_blank">TFS Shoutbox</a>';

This works great as it opens a shoutbox up in a seperate windwo, the only problem is id doens auto refresh. i have 2 questions and im hoping one of you can offer some assistance or ideas:

1. What kind of code can i put in there also to auto refresh that new window shoutbox opens to in the above code? anythign that will auto refresh the window and its contensts.

2. The font is large in that shoutbox and i can not find the file or code that controls the font size in that shoutbox, does anyone know where or what file from that shoutbox mod where the font size is contorlled?

Thank you for any help or comments you all can provide.
thanks again

come on you coders :-),

Put this in your HTML code somewhere in the <head> tags .

<meta http-equiv="refresh" content="5" >

Change the number to how ever many seconds you want it to refresh. I'm not sure about your font issue.
