Title: Problem with access.
Post by: PSPXavier on October 06, 2006, 07:38:38 PM
For some reason, when I click TP Admin. at the top of my page, then I get this error:

You are not allowed in this section.

But if click Admin(just plain old SMF one), then go to the TP section, I'm granted access. Any ideas?

Thanks.

Yes, and do you have the same errors from the default theme ?

Also, when you installed the mods, did you do that with the forum set to Default SMF theme ?

Yes, still have the problem. And no, I had different themes when I installed the mods. Here's ALL of the mods I have:

All I can suggest is that you reset your forum to the SMF Default theme, go in to your Packages folder, remove all the mods from the folder.

Then make sure the mods you want to install are for SMF 1.0.8, atleast 2 of the mods in the list doesent work with SMF 1.0.8.
So here the support will stop from my end.

Go back from the start and redo the whole thing. And make sure you have the SMF default theme at all times during all the installes, and that the mods really works with your SMF version.

Okay-- thanks for the help.

This is now another problem....As I started to do this , I noticed I had 'SMF 1.0.8 Update Package' and 'SMF 1.0.7 / 1.1 RC2 Update'... Could this a problem? I was on 1.0.5, and I decided to upgrade to 1.0.8. I clicked the link to upgrade in Administration Center. But after I upgraded, I was only to 1.0.7. And it said I needed to again, so I did. Why is the 1.1 RC2 one in there?! It's says I'm now on 1.0.8. So could that be a problem, I'm a bit confused. I tryed deleting it, but it said it was installed, and if I deleted it, it wouldn't be able to unistall it later.

Augh..

The 'SMF 1.0.7 / 1.1 RC2 Update' is the name of the update. It happens to cover both versions. So deleting it would be bad.
