Title: TP damaged after unsuccesful upgrade SMF to V1.1.RC3
Post by: Henk on September 20, 2006, 01:15:11 AM
During the check before the actual upgrade to V1.1.RC3 I got the warning about old language files. (I use Dutch in combination with Apollo theme)

I could not fix it so I uploaded the old files again.
TP V.0.9.5 and SMF V1.1.RC2

Everything seems to be OK but it's not!

When I try to edit an article I get the message:

You have an error in your SQL syntax near '(smf_themes AS tb) ON th.ID_THEME = tb.ID_THEME
WHERE th' at line 4
Bestand: /home/httpd/vhosts/petsfriendsforum.nl/httpdocs/Sources/TPortalAdmin.php
Regel: 1229

So, how can I upgrade to V1.1.RC3 and fix the TP problem also?

This is a known bug, and is fixed for .9.6.

The solution of eeek (removing the hooks ()  ) worked fine!!!!! Thnx.

Now I think this afternoon I will uninstall the Apollo theme, try to upgrade again to V1.1.RC3, check if TP still works and re-install Apollo.
What do you think? Will this fix the problem?

Or should it be a complete install of SMF and TP again?

Oh, those questions..... :)

Dont install any other themes at all to your foum until you have a working forum and portal with the SMF Default theme first.
