Title: FAQ
Post by: IchBin on September 16, 2006, 03:38:16 PM
Seems a lot of people have missed the fact that we have a FAQ and Documentation board. :) So here is a link!

http://www.tinyportal.net/smf/index.php?board=85.0

Also for those that keep asking these questions and can't seem to find their answer...

Q: Will my RC2 / tp v.0.8.6 themes work with v.0.9.5?
A: They may work or they may not, but it is suggested when the themes are converted and ready for RC3/TP 0.95 that you do the upgrade. If you insist on using RC2, then you will need themes for RC2 + TP 0.95.

Q: Should I upgrade TP first and then do the SMF RC3 upgrade?
A: TP is a mod for SMF. If you install TP and then upgrade SMF, you will delete any SMF mods that are installed. So install order should be #1 install SMF, #2 Install TP.

Q: Where do I find RC3/TP 0.95 themes?
A: They now have their own little home in the download section. When the themes are ready, you'll see them there.

Thanks Ichbin.  I looked through a lot of threads and couldn't find the simple info.  Hopefully this will reduce the questions for you.

What an excellent post.  I for one have bookmarked it, and the instructions within will be most awfully helpful for me, but, did anyone else notice that it doesn't have:

How to enable auto refresh in the tiny portal shoutbox. ;)

sincerely

ice_queen you already have a topic posted for your question and hopefully someone will have an answer for you in that thread.

Mean while... please don't cross post or double post, especially when your question is not related to this one.
