Well, I made a few searches and could not find any info on this. On a site i am admin at this one (http://www.againsttheshadow.org/index.php) we have a single news board to show on frontpage, but right now the news items are going from older ones at the top to new ones at the bottom.
I would like to change this sorting to show older ones on the bottom and new ones at the top, anyone know how i could change that? We are using SMF v1.0.7 (we will be updating to 1.0.8 soon though) and Tiny Portal v0.8.6
Thanks for the help and time. :D
I have the same/similar issue. Specifically with "showing news forum posts" enabled it has older ones showing at top when it should be newer ones showing up. If anyone finds a fix for this, I'd appreciate it.
(p.s. running SMF 1.08 + TP 0.9.5)
u mean in your SMF board index?
then u have to set the :
Admin --> CurrentTheme --> Reset Options -- > Reset all member's current options for this theme ---> Show most recent posts at the top
But I dont use 1.0.8 so that option may not be there, still worth to check it out. It does exist in 1.1rc2 onwards thouh
Actually I'm refering to the front page of the portal. Right now I have it showing articles only. It sorts those correctly, but when I enable showing posts from a specific board (I just went with my news and announcements board) it shows the very oldest post at the top. This also makes it so all other articles don't show on the front page, presumedly because they are dated newer.
check this thread out

and look in it for the "recent topics" or "recent posts" threads...there are sooo many variations of it u will go crazy lol :D (in a good way)
try them out
