With the release of TP0.95 its a major update as well as SMF1.1rc3 So before i get started jus a cople of questions
1. Which order should i do these updates .. I suspect udpate TP first then SMF
2. Will FEMBLOG still work .. wil it have to be removed then a newer version installed
3. Will the themes from TP0.85 and SMF1.1rc2 work still or should i change everyone back to the default
4. should i put the site into maintanence mode while upgrading
5. About how long should it take
6. Do i uninstall TP0.85 or what
Things that I already know just need confirmation
1. uninstall all SMF mods already installed
2. Backup the site both files and DB and store them safely
1: Do SMF first. Actually, set your forums to the default theme. Upgrade to SMF 1.1RC3, then update TP to v0.95.
2: Not sure
3: Aliennation does. I am not sure about the others.
4: SMF will put it into maintenance mode when you run upgrade.php
5: Depending on the size of the database, approx 5 minutes.
6: Not necessary. But I did delete it before I installed v95.
My upgrade took about 45 seconds. Not a big database. But I spent a lot of time preparing. I put the forums into maintenance mode. I reset everyone's theme to the default. I uploaded the RC3 files. Did the upgrade for SMF. Then I deleted TP 0.86 and uploaded TP.95. I then reset everyone to Aliennation theme and I was done. All told, about 3 minutes.
Ok all done ..
FelBlog noesn't work with rc3 but does with rc2 and .95
also broke my gallery script somehow :( ..
Apart from that and a couple of SMF Mods that havn't beehn upgraded yet .. it all went fine
I'm getting a few errorsc in the log but i'll report them seperatly

Will give errors and needs the next release from her to be 100%

All themes will show up and work, but some gives errors until Bloc have updated them all, but no bigger errors though.
ALWAYS set the forum to DEFAULT SMF when you make any changes to the site or install/uninstall things.

I took me 30 min to upgrade both 1.1rc3 and TP V.095 Arcade, Googlebot and spider mod
Read Blocs post it actually have the information there
