I uploaded and attempted to install TP and this is the error I got:
2: fopen(): SAFE MODE Restriction in effect. The script whose uid/gid is 4114/4114 is not allowed to access /mounted-storage/home6/sub002/sc13148-HLNX/www/Packages/temp owned by uid/gid 99/99
File: /mounted-storage/home6/sub002/sc13148-HLNX/www/Sources/Subs-Package.php
Line: 1476
Im assuming there is a way to cut off the safe mode. How?
Shared server?? Contact your host. Maybe they can turn of safe mode for you.
Dedicated server...use shell to access php.ini and change from on to off.
There are afew more sfemode related settings but I don't have experience with them.
Hawkeye, if you search this site for 'safe mode' you will find your answers in this thread.
