When I install Tiny Portal I get an messages:
./Themes/default/index.template.php Test fault!
Any clue???
After installing it I get this:
Databaseerror
Table 'rmikes30_joom1.smf_tp_settings' doesn't exist
File: /home/rmikes30/public_html/smf/Sources/TPortal.php
Line: 103
Download the manual install package (http://www.tinyportal.net/smf/index.php?action=tpmod;dl=get100) and upload all the tp files from that package to your forum, overwrite the existing ones.
Then download manual install (database only) (http://www.tinyportal.net/smf/index.php?action=tpmod;dl=get101) and upload that to your forum root directory and point your browser to that file.
Seems like your files didnt get uploaded and extracted correct

Since you've already installed the package all you need to do is do as G6 suggested.

The file should be in your forum root folder.
Open your browser and write in the URL for where the file is located and it will do it's "magic" as IchBin use to say :)
EG, http://www.yourdomain.com/forum/manual_tp_install.php
It would not work. I try to ftp de manual_tp_install.php to my site. He overwrites te file but give a file of 0 Kb
I think you might have a permission error to your files, Whos the owner of your files when you upload them manually ?

If you are on SMF default theme you should see it if you have it installed there

I had to unisnstall all of them and then manually install TP and then install the mods back again, but now you have the portal to play with though :)

I had to do it again, After you helped me, there were some errors in SMF (not made by you, but made by myself) It was nog repairable. So I had to restore my database.
Now I did the same you did with the installation. And get again an error message:

When I Install TP I would not work. I asume you read the above topics
G6 did a wonderful job, but it still not works
I tried to do copy all the files from TP with FTP tot my site.

Yes but you need a different DATABASE for SMF-TP.. that 1 is overly full

teovmy, I told you to contact your host about the database and the file permissions.
We cant install TP to your site as long as the DB nor the files will be accepted even from a manual install.
So please... CONTACT your host, and aske them to fix a new DB for you (the old one you persist us to use are full) and that they give you the correct file permissions so the files can be uploaded correct.
The only thing we can do is restore your SMF forum setup, but thats all it will accept as it is now.
Eather you have to remove the jomla setup from the DB to make some space, or contact the host for another DB for SMF and TP
Ok that wass not clear for me, But I understand it now.
If you restore my SMF I will be happy and do not border you again. ;)
