QuoteTo create a simple link to an article in a 'menubox' block ...
Admin >> TinyPortal >> Blocks >> Add MenuItem >> Change / Customize the options to what you want. For a direct link to an article, choose "Article" under the "Type" header and select the title of the one you want under the "Item" header. >> Click on the send button at the bottom
Hello: I would like to know how to pull this off using tiny portal version 0.8.6?
I found the instructions posted here but read that they are for the tiny portal version 9.0.1. Is there a manual way to find out what the article links are?
Thanks
techno1, before asking did you examine if this is the way for TP 0.8.6 too?
Hello:
Yes I did follow the directions in my tiny portal version 0.8.6 and as far as I can tell version 0.8.6 does not have the Add MenuItem option.
yes it does its in the admin-tinyportal-blocks- its in one of the tabs "add menu item" and "menu manager"
Allright this is for 0.9x
QuoteAdmin >> TinyPortal >> Blocks >> Add MenuItem >>
In TP 0.86
Admin >> TinyPortal >> Blocks >>Menu Manager(exists in 0.9x)
Then you see Add MenuItem.
Maybe it's a 1.07 to 1.1 RC2 SMF difference in theme behavior, not sure.
Strange you saw the Manage blocks screen and you didn't notice Menu Manager, as you were looking for menus ???
