While we are waiting (?) for TP 0.9.5 I'm wondering how to do this :

I would like that guests and members come first to the front page with blocks and articles and whatever which would correspond to the HOME link and only when clicking on LOGIN, would they be led to the login page and then to the forum.
At present whoever uses the url to my forum comes to the login page (it's a registered only forum) and no matter how many blocks etc. I put there, there is always that big login thing in the middle.

I have read this thread : http://www.tinyportal.net/smf/index.php?topic=2879.msg24102#msg24102 and that covers roughly the same ground but is there a way do it now before 0.9.5 arrives (soon?)  :up:

TP inherits SMF permissions. So if you have guests view off on the forum thats why you see the login. TP doesn't have its own permission routine for that. I think the setting to allow guests to view news if they don't have permission to view the board doesn't mean "forum".

Thanks ichbin - although it's still not clear for me but I expect I'll end up by understanding !!!
