Post by: stefan on July 02, 2006, 08:36:17 PM
When I install the sitemap from davilac.

I get this message:

If you are talking about the sitemap mod from simplemachines.org, it's not compatible with Tinyportal. Nobody that I know has gotten it to work yet.

You can try this as a simple, but not as effective backup: http://gsitecrawler.com/

To bad, I hoped it coulw work with smf mod. It's probably the easiest way. By the way thanks for the tip.

I managed to install and run it successfully. I moved the sitemaps.php to my root folder and edited the location of SSI.php. Now mydomain.com/sitemaps.php generates a valid XML file. Then Google accepted my sitemap and I am waiting for the bot to pay me a visit. If I run mydomain.com/sitemaps/index.php, I am getting the errors too but the list of topics are generated successfully.
