    is there a read me or something to help me figure out how to effectivly use this feature? i cant get it to do things i want it to.

I think he just wants a good explanation of how to use the articles ...

i am wanting to understand how archived articles work. i want articles to appear on the front page for a short time then move to an archived aread where users can still access them but they wont be on the front page.

what i think is, when selected as featured the article appears on the front page, then when feature is shut off they dont, but how do you make it so users can still have access to them. i have created a category called archived articles but havent got much else figured out.


EDIT: i am thinking this is done within menu manager correct? i think i may have it figured out. add a header like archived articles, then add those articles under that header. are you able to just link to article categories with this method?

EDIT: sorry for wasting your time. i do beleive i have everything figured out, just took some playing around. maybe once i get tp completely figured out i will put together an online tutorial for others. ;)

It's a bit hard to set up a tutorial for how the articles work.
I assume you have TP V.086, and that version compared with the next one is to many changes to make a good tutorial for this release you have installed now.
There will be some small tutorials made for the next release but I can promisse you that when TP final is near a release, we will have some good tutorials made for how TP works :)
