i see tinyportal on control panel as blank , why is that

I don't understand what you are trying to describe. Do you mean in the admin panel? What theme are you using? You take a look in the default theme?

Try uploading the "Files Only" and replace them.

which one you mean ... tiny portal to uninstall and delete it and re upload it ????

In the download section there is a TP Files Only package. Unzip it, and upload all the files replacing the old ones.

you mean the manual install thing ..

anyway it's working fine for me now .. i install it use Opera .. i replace the fourm files with update RC2 again and i install the TinyPortal Again .. in case this happen to anyone else so do the same..

You are missing the laguage files for TinyPortal.

Upload the TP langauge files in your /themes/default/languages folder
Download the "files only" packagae, extract it to your local computer, and then upload the files from the language folder to your language folder as described.
Also check the permissions for the TP files in the language folder after you have uploaded them

And please, if you want support, and we give you support on how to solve your errors, dont give us a NO ansver to the things we say fix your errors.

I am having the same problem as Moviespot.
My TinyPortal section of the Admin menu is coming up Blank, exactly as is pictured in previous post by Moviespot.

I am using SMF 1.1.2 and TinyPortal v0.9.8 with "SMF Default Theme - Core"

I followed the intructions in G6 post:
"Upload the TP langauge files in your /themes/default/languages folder
Download the "files only" packagae, extract it to your local computer, and then upload the files from the language folder to your language folder as described.
Also check the permissions for the TP files in the language folder after you have uploaded them"

I uploaded (with overwrite) 4 files into my Themes/Default/Languages folder.
TPhelp.english.php
TPmodules.english.php
TPortal.english.php
TPortalAdmin.english.php

I reset the Permissions on each of the files to "0755"

I am seeing no change in the TinyPortal section, still Blank.

Any more ideas?

Hello all.

I had this same issue just selecting Spanish language, I have had one week searching, changing settings, uploading files, chmoding, renaming files, and going mad.

The trick is rename all the TP* files replacing "spanish" with "spanish_es".
In spanish-utf8 files, replace "spanish-utf8"  with "spanish_es-utf8"

And all this language file must be uploaded to  the "languages" folder in default Theme.
