My SMF + TP has been installed on a folder in the root

hom/elpvn/html_publish/portal

and now I want move it to hom/elpvn/html_publish/

How to make it for perfectly ? :uglystupid2:

Make a compleate backup of your forum (the folder on your server where the forum and portal is)
And them make a compleate backup of the database through php myadmin

Make a new dir where you want your forum, and upload all the backuped forum and portal files there

Go to your settings.php and change the path to the new one and it should work and then to Admin/themes and layout/theme and settings/ and there you change the path to the new folder for every theme installed

I have moved a few forums and portals now and thats the way i have done it :D

Dont be scared when the whole thing just show up as text and no layout :) Thats when you need to change the url for the themes to find their way back :)
