Hi guys, im having a bit of trouble.
Im using tp mercury 1.0.7, but any uploads or changes i try to make, just send the forum to smf default.
Now in default mode, the uploads i required are on show.
but as i said, whenever i try it on my selected theme, it justs resets back to smf default
Also, i cannot personalise the header for the same reason.
where am i going wrong?
thanx
still having problems with this, any help gratefully appreciated
One post was enough with the same question, i removed the other one.
And im sure that someone will give you the answer when they can, or perhaps do a search for it, i think this have been covered allready
thanx, sorry about that.
I couldnt find it elsewhere myself, but i just might be being blind
Is this when uploading in TP..or in SMF?
Ive tried in both but the same thing happens.
Hm, if it also happens in defalt theme, something is wrong with your SMF installation. If it doesn't in default, check that you indeed have the correct version of TP Mercury installed.
atticus it would be useful to give a link to your site with the problem.
Thanx for the help here guys. my site is http://ghost2ghosts.co.uk/forums/index.php?action=forum.
I believe that i have downloaded all the right versions and the like.
I got TP installed and am using TP Mercury theme.
Just at an all time loss.
Actually I do believe you have the wrong TP Theme version.
There seem to be missing other things as well in the stats section to.
You have TP on SMF 1.0.7 You have to download and install the TP 1.0.7 version of Mercury

atticus it seems that you have overwritten the default theme with Mercury, is that true?
if i have, i can assure u it was not done intentionally.
is that a bad thing?
hey thats great guys, all seems to be in order now. i think!!
thanx for all the help and keep up good work.
Overwriting default theme isn't recommended..the day you update/upgrade your forum it will be replaced. And any other theme will also lean ond efault - meaning if the theme is missing things for some reason, designwise perhaps, other themes will produce errors trying things that arenn't there.
That said, I don't think Mercury is missing anything..but nevertheless.
