Very nice find. However, I find those flash talking characters annoying. I should try and come with a few ideas and suggestions on how to use them.

I did use them on one of my pages once - they can be very good if you need to give someone a "short" intro to the page audibly
Only down side is : Page load time increases since flash with sound can be heavy

My suggestion for usage would be to create a character and use as a side block to welcome people to your homepage - that would be really cool
