When uploading my package and installing it I get this error:

   Execute Modification     ./Themes/default/index.template.php     Test failed

Any ideas what is up or how I can troubleshoot this?  Thanks.

I got the same thing. Fresh install of 1.1 RC2 also.  ???

It gives the error if the installer cant find the strings it looks for.
One reason can be that you have some other mod installed that have changed one or more code strings TP have to change to.

You can still do the install, but you have to edit the code  index.template.php manually.

Well I have figured out why mine won't work then. I have customized a little my index.template.php to add to the menu links.

I guess when I get time or get bored I'll have to go remove that and try again.  :-\

I fixed this by adding the original index.template.php.  You can then go back in and modify the file if need be.

OK great thanks for posting that. When I have time I'll just go back to default and then re-tweak after TP is installed.  :up:

You also get that same error if your installing TP on A Theme other than SMF default ..
