I made the changes to xml file but it still fails at a different spot.

I finally gave up.

When will the version for 1.0.7 be released or will it. I really need it.

There are several threads on how to solve that, they even have the files needed. So do a little bit of search, and you will find it :)

ive gotten farther but now i cant get passed this message:

Permission denied,, try to change the permissions to your folders Tp needs to change, and see if that helps.
themes/default/images folder

set the permissions to that folder 755 or 777

ok everything installed YAY!!!

But it said to restart my forum.

So I just reloaded it but I dont see anything different?

upload all the TP files from the "TP files only" package. Then put the manual_install.php file in your forum directory. After you've uploaded the files, then run the php file by pointing your browser to the file i.e. www.yourdomain.com/manual_install.php

After that you will need to install a theme that has been converted to work with TP. A link is provided in my sig for you to choose a theme for TP.
