It is probably something I've done, but I get the above error if I try to edit the center block, and that error message is displayed underneath the block I want to edit. It seems that I've messed up a path. :uglystupid2:
What do I need to tweak please
I don't see your error.
It would seem that a id to a block does not exist. Did you press "edit" button on the overview of blocks(where all existing blocks are shown) or did you just use a previous link?
This is the site I'm having the problem with http://nokonium.co.uk/sgr/
TPAdmin>Edit Blocks>Centre Block Delete/Edit (config_sm.gif)
The Block displays OK, but I have increased the padding on the featured article and wanted to adjust the HTML in the centre block.
The longer story is, I was fiddling, as you doÃÆ'ââ,¬Å¡Ãƒâ€šÃ, :uglystupid2: and got that error for all the blocks on the left side. I reloaded my backup TPortalAdmin and I could edit those blocks again. When I tried to edit the centre block I got the error.
Would the simplest method be to create a new block and hide the old one (if it can find it to hide)?
[edit]Bloc, I have created an admin account for you if you want to use it, there is an e-mail on the way with your password.
Ok, thanks. I will look out for it.
Thanks Bloc
Any thoughts yet Bloc?
um..the email didn't reach i think. Could you re-send it?
I've just fixed it and another deleting problem as well ;D
In I'm getting a database error when I try to delete an article (http://www.tinyportal.net/smf/index.php?topic=455.msg3635#msg3635) you asked about using a db prefix, so I had a look at the PortalAdmin.php file and checked all the db_query lines. I found several prefix errors, some of my own making, by borrowing a file from my other TP site :-[
I have this at line 14
// prefix of the TP tables
$tp_prefix = 'sgrportal_';
And most db_query's use
{$tp_prefix}
There were a few though that still had the full field name and no $tp_prefix.
Yes..I have missed several.I will correct these later and attach the file/update the archive.
Thanks Bloc
If only you could have written the code for Arcade ::)
Well, I have plans to do a module for it that works in TP. Supporting SMF games that is. Its really better to use those games - where SMF is the main platform and now also will have a MKPortal arcade bit by johnm - than relying on games meant for the PhpBB A-mod project.
It will take over the role the arcade mod does if you have both installed. I am not sure yet on what features the module will have though.
anyway, didn't got around to updating these errors today, been out all day, but it will be done.Glad you could resolve them yourself for time being. :)
