We just had a new logo designed by my friends sister. She is a commercial design student.
Anyways, to make a long story short, she did our new logo in Illustrator but had to save them into a PDF file in order for her to get them to us via school.
Can anybody convert these pdf into png, gif, and jpeg images for me?
Let me know and I will e-mail them to you.
I will.
mitch@games-n-things.net
Cool, i'll send them to you right now
Ok well I just got your email I will admit I read the post wrong but I will do what I can for you.
So you want each one of those images in the email seperated and saved as png, gif, and jpegs.
Do you just want one or the other or both? (By this I mean do you want just the BW or the Color one or do you want both.)
Do you want the backgrounds transparent?

Both. The color ones are for print and the black and white ones are for one color t-shirts.

Thanks again Mitch.
Ok I will try my best and I am editing and saving now.
No what you wrote was fine I thought you wanted a .psd resaved as the above. So that was my mistake.
Cool, thanks again.
Before I send this I would like to know if you have Winzip or Winrar.
i have winzip
Ok I am sending you an email.
I do want to apologize if this is not how you wanted it or something is wrong.
It well was very time consuming I have been working on it since you sent me the email.
That and I have never ever had to do anything like that before.
I didnt re-save the .png files as I figured you could have done that.
If you cant just let me know and I will go about doing it for you.
Too awesome. Thanks for your time. The person who made them told me that it's easy to do if you have illustrator. I don't have illustrator so it wasn't very easy for me.
But thanks again.
I dont have illustrator either.
Tell me if you got that email and if everything is ok.
Again sorry if things didnt come out as you planned.
Hey, they came out just fine as far as I can tell.
Thanks a million.
No problem I am glad to help.
If you see something that you could use some help on let me know and I will see if I can help. If not I will just tell you to go ask on the boards. :P

Got yea, most image software does have the ability to do this function, however if your software cannot read a PDF file then I can see where it would be a challage. You know, what is really interesting is if this young lady was a student and sent this file to them like that, then why wouldn't she be able to send the correct format? Maybe because of policies? I would be a little careful doing this sort of thing, but yet again I would have done the same thing.
Umm honestly I dont have any idea myself. All I know is that I got stuck with the job cause I read what he wanted wrong! XD
QuoteI hope this is it. I consulted my professor and he suggested a different method. You will find a color and a black and white of each specified size, free of flaws. All files are in .PDF format with the exception of the two 18x18's which are .PDF (But have a .PDF copy as well). Let me know if any other problems occur. One of you should be able to burn off the .PDF and .PNG onto a CD-RW without a problem to make transportation of the files easy. I, however, cannot do this step for you on account of the computers I work on either do not have a CD-R drive or no internet access. Sorry.

Too bad I had to flaw them to get them to what he wanted. :(

Sounds like you did the best job possible, I sometimes have problems doing stuff like that for people. Not long ago I had a person contact me online and wanted me to change some photos for her, and what she sent me was photos that had a business logo in the corner of the photo, she wanted me to remove that logo off from the photos, however I felt that in doing this, it would not be right, so I contacted the studio that took the photos and they contacted me telling me that the person who was requesting the work was not the person in the photo, which I felt was the case. Needless to say she wasn't at all happy when I told her that I wouldn't do the work because it was illegal.
First thing is that you did what you were asked, and even though it took you a while to do the job that person shouldn't be unhappy, unless they paid for the service, other then that I would give yourself a pat on the back. I respect your abilities.

Thanks man that means alot.
By the way, can u help me reduce the size (KB) of this GIF images, Mitchâ„¢ ?
I've been done it with Ulead Gif 5 but it's too big with me 9149KBÃ, :uglystupid2:)
See the attachment fileÃ, :)
Thanks
Umm hehe I will try but what I think I will but what I think I will end up doing is have to take screen captures of all the frames and then have to save them all one by one and then run it through an animator again. So if you give me a bit I will definitely try. (Meaning I will have to download a program and this could be just as time consuming as the first one. :P)
Keep to the thread, and read the postinguide oneway
G6 who are you talking to? I am pretty sure we are sticking to the thread. The first guy who needed help recieved it and is on his merry little way. And then Elpvn wanted graphics help and I responded. So can you please point out who was in the wrong and what exactly do you mean read the postinguide oneway?
I read from left to right I dont know about any of you guys. So I am confused. And Elpvn I am having troubles finding my program. So if anyone else is up for this challenge feel free to help him.
Thank MitchÃ,â,,¢ !
I think really can't resize it smaller, because Ulead Gif has been compressed it to smallestÃ, :)
I can help you reduce the GIF file. Were is the file?

It is not my place to say anything, however the problem here is sort of getting to one on one, and chattering, this is more of a personal issue then a forum issue.
Well Robert I am pretty sure that it was a personal issue. And I am sure it was fine when WSA posted it. So what makes it wrong when Elpvn asks for help?
And G6 since the other topic is locked I just wanted to say if people make a thread for every question that they have then the forums will be way to messy and be an even bigger mess. And sorry about the whole reading the posting guide rules I was just confused.
Yeah Robert its true its not your place to say anything. And there was no chattering, and alot of people have "personal" issues that they ask here.

No one is pointing fingers my friend, just my opinion. But anway did you get that done for the person? It was nice of you to help out. Good Job!!!
Mitch, you have to remember who's site this is, thats all, the rules are set by the owner and the staff, so really, what you think isn't always the way this forum will run from this point forward.
All the rules are made by the team, and then Bloc has the final word in how he want them to look or to be carry-ed out. We do as he say, and it's hes site, so we follow that he needs or say have to be done here.
If our visitors keep asking 3 or 4 questions in every thread, there will be 10 or more pages in every thread, therefore we have this new icon to show when the question from the author of the topic is solved. When it is solved, the thread get locked. And if the author from the have more questions that have nothing to do with the question from the start, he or she have to start a new thread with that.
So the content of it all, the green solved icons to the threads are solved ones, easy to know for the visitors, and there for i locked it.
We have to clean this up, some threads we have read through have 10 or more questions in them, non of them solved, no one think it's fun reading through 300 posts in a thread to come up empty.
Same with having 30 threads with people asking the exact same questions. If we have 1 or two threads with the same question, and itÂÃ,´s solved, the users can find it with easy and that way get help quicker without first start a post, and then wait for someone to answer. We don't think it's all that fun to give the answer to the same question in 50 threads every day, when the answer is allready solved in one thread.
Be fine with it, and stop complain about every little bit you can find Mitch, that benefit no one here. ;)
