Title: # of articles in first page
Post by: oSa on April 11, 2006, 11:02:07 PM
I have 7 articles now, and i set the frontpage to "single page". But only 5 of the articles are shown, and the rest are put in a second page although there is a large empty space when all the blocks are open. Isn't the "single page" option supposed to show all the items in one page?

Here you can see what i mean :

If you set the frontpage to show more than 5 posts you will fill up that spacing in the bottom.

Look in your Admin/configuration/Current Theme/ change "Number of recent posts to display on board index" from 5 to 7 or 8 perhaps and see where you end up with that space

mmm - I had the same error - the number that it shows on the front page doesnt exactly line up with the number in settings... I just played with it till I found how many I wanted on the page... (for example, setting 11 gave me 10)

The counting on pages is not accurate. This is fixed for the next version.

"Single page" means that - one single article.
