Are you sure that you not alter any code in the index.template.php of the theme ?

You dont seem to have TP installed. You need to install TP and use TP enabled themes.

Switch to the default theme, install TP, then install a TP Theme that you'd like to use.

But, this theme is the babylon theme which supports TP just coloured differently.

Not all themes are supporting TP.
For example, the babylon theme you said had 2 versions.
One for SMF only, and one for TP.
So you had the correct version ?

I think so, I was using the theme, changed the colours and now no bars

Install the babylon from the beginning then.
After you see that the babylon is correct, change the colors again, one by one till you change them all and the bars are showing correct.

How do you delete themes?
And where do you get babylon from?

Ok, so do I have to uninstall and then re-install SMF?

Download the same version of SMF you have installed from the SMF forums, and then extract the zip file on your local harddrive, Upload the files from BABLYLON to the themes folder and install like any other theme :)

What I did was to find the Babylon theme in the upgrade package, zipped it, and then used the themes manager in the admin CP to install it - worked out a lot quicker than messing around with ftp transfers. :)
