Title: quick question about articles

how do i get the article to only show part of the story then have a link at the bottom for clicking to read more which then opens the whole article?

ok, is this just a really stupid question? i see it on several sites, but i can not get my articles to do it, it just posts the entire thing on the front page.

When you create an article, you get some settings to choose from.

One of those settings is "USE INTRO"   There you write a sentens or two, and the reast of the content you write in the bigger frame upowe.
That way it will show just a "snippet" of the content, and when they click the "read more" link, the link take them to the rest of the article :)

And remember, no question is stupid if you dont know the answer, You ask to get learn how to :)
