hi,
since some time i am trying to install TP and now it becomes vital to me
i need the TP now & enjoy :)

it did not work with 1.6 and now, we have updated into 1.7 SMF and I still try to install the Tiny portal 0.86 and what I get as a message :

Package Manager - Install Actions
Install Actions for archive Tinyportal0_86.zip:
The package you are trying to download or install is either corrupt or not compatible with this version of SMF. 

so, what to do to get the TP installed ?

Read this post on how to fix the file so the manager can accept it.

i have read your message, but do not know what ihave to understand,

i have same in my ftp:
wwwroot
  *FORUM
      *THEMES

so, the problem is somewhere else,
or perhaps you ment something else?

In the TP package the file that tell the manager what to do, havent been updated to read the 1.0.7 yet.

Download the package here and see if it works :)

I have made the changes to that file so it should know the way now.

Let us know if it works please :)

not success yet but at least something happens:

This beats me, I dont know why that temp dir is there all the time, You have to have something set up the wrong way some how.

There shouldent be any tempdir  :o

I guess that Bloc Or IchBin have to give you a hand to get any further  :'(

The package is not adjusted for SMF 1.0.7 yet (though its not much to adjust)...I will test and update TP0.8.6 asap.

thanks to all nice people that has helped me to finally get the TP
and especially thanks to bimmer  
that has fixed few problems at once !

now, i will now enjoy the TP & configure it  :)

For anyone else that experiences the same problem the index.template had been modified so TP could ot find a string to change, along with ssi.php changes from the googlebot mod throwing a few errors on the users online block.

All done now
