SMF version: SMF ver. 2.1.1
TP version: TP ver. 3.0.2
Default Forum Language: English

Related Error messages: No error message. RSS does not work for me, Brings up one word only and that's Weather, which is fine as it's weather site. The RSS feed I'm trying to use in a block is https://rss.weatherzone.com.au/?u=12994-1285<=state&lc=wa&warn=1. It works fine in RSS Agregator.
Many thanks for the help.

I am not sure what I am seeing here..

the RSS seems to be have one item in it and nothing else. And that's what is showing.
Not too familiar with RSS tbh...

I cannot see your forum to see what you are referring to about the RSS mod.

Well, following your questions here: https://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=589799.msg4190034;topicseen#msg4190034

It appears there are more issues with that rss feed...

Many thanks for having a look.
I've changed RSS feed to the official government one and it still does not work TP, but I also had the developer of RSS Aggregator and is working perfectly now. I have a block at the top of my forum and everyone can see it.
Vines Weather Forum (https://vinesweather.com/forum/index.php?action=forum). As you will see the Block WA Warnings is empty, whereas WA Weather Warning category and posts are working.
Thanks for the help. I'd really like to get working.

How is it solved if it doesn't work?

Who says it is solved?

I had a look into the code and as far as I can see now the code is expecting either 'rss' of 'feed' in the url, so that would explain why this feed does not work.

I will raise an issue in github and we will see it this functionality can be added / altered in a future version of TinyPortal. It is not something that is a simple bugfix. It appears the original code is not built  to deal with these addresses...

Apologies. I thought it was classed as Solved. My mistake.
Thanks very much in looking into this.

Tried to replicate this today and it works ok.

What PHP version is installed on the site?
