Question:

forum is version 2.0.19 -- my host is moving our server to another "improved" server next week and I will need to update everything...LOL yippeeee.

The new server we are being moved to is faster and newer than ours and it is certainly going to be using a higher version of PHP which is going from 5.6 to 7.4

Our forum is now 7.4 and running the 2.0.19 software. Our TP is 2.0.0 Right now we have only 2 forums with the other one being 5.6 PHP and the same TP

We are using the older versions of themes since they still work and are more diverse than the newer ones. BTW, I like this dark one you have now.

Will I be required to stop using my older themes when upgrading the forums? I have no idea what version of PHP the newer server will use but if it is as new as he says then possibly even the 7.4 won't be usable.

Well depend on what SMF you are moving to. 2.0.19 supports php 8.0 anything higher and you will need to move to SMF 2.1.4, then your old themes will not work anymore

Really?? This software and yours are so reliable that I have had no issues for ages. I can stay with my 2.0.19 SMF then just update the TP. YAY! :doh:

Just be aware: the latest TP version for SMF 2.0 is TinyPortal version 2.3.1.

The later versions do no support SMF2.0 anymore.
