Title: How to add an image to an article?
Post by: sd.aka.xvost on June 24, 2024, 10:49:08 PM
Judging by the manuals that I read on this site, under the field with the text editor of the article there should be an option to select a file on the computer and add it to the article. The attached files should be displayed in the TPlistimage module. Am I understanding correctly, is this how it works?

But the thing is that I don't have an option to choose a file to add to the article.

Version TP 3.0.0.

This is indeed how it works.

Mind you: the 'Myimages Quicklist' is ony available in HTML articles (not in BBC and PHP articles), and for it to be available you MUST activate the WYSIWYG editor for articles.

If you do not use WYSIWYG you can only add images by inserting the URL to the image between the correct tags manually..

@rjen @tino - would you please be able to point me in the right direction on how I might be able to set up this sort of configuration for the article thumbnails?

I see the setting: "Image size for article icons (width x height)"

But if I could be pointed in the right direction to include the image, like in my example, that would be super useful.
