Hi,
I have these two entries in my error log
http://the-mmc.co.uk/index.php?action=tpmod;shout
2: in_array() expects parameter 2 to be array, null given
File: /home/sites/the-mmc.co.uk/public_html/Themes/default/TPBlockLayout.template.php
Line: 84
http://the-mmc.co.uk/index.php?action=tpmod;shout
8: Undefined index: tp_panels
File: /home/sites/the-mmc.co.uk/public_html/Themes/default/TPBlockLayout.template.php
Line: 84
Both come up several times with different line numbers.
if you edit your shoutbox block, do you have Modules TP Simple Shout checked at the bottom of the page? if so uncheck it and see if that fixes the issue.
no, that isn't checked
if you look at that page here, the right side bar does not show up. if you look at your page the shoutbox appears on that page on the right side bar. there has to be a reason why it shows up on your forum and not here.
I agree, but I haven't got a clue as to why it does. I've had to re-install SMF on the MMC site as it had been hacked. So I might well have done something a bit different this time but I have no way (I know of) of checking.
I did check the option you mentioned aboved, saved it, then un-checked it again but that did not help.

arnold74. So you uploaded a fresh set of SMF files using the large upgrade package, and that removed all your mods. You then installed a fresh copy of the custom theme you are using, and all your mods including Tinyportal 1.2 In that order?
nearly, the theme is new as I took the opportunity to change to a responsive theme. But apart from that, yes that is what I did
Ok thanks.
Just out of interest, could you turn your existing shoutbox block off, and create a new one please. See what happens then.
makes no difference

makes no difference
Can you PM me a test account please.
Thanks, had a quick look around, but couldn't really see anything untoward. You do have a couple of articles on the front page,
"Written by One Mini posted in 12 Announcements" which when clicked on say
"An Error Has Occurred!
The category doesn't exist."
I also noticed you have a 2.0.11 upgrade installed in your package manager. And the SMF gallery lite mod, did this install cleanly without any errors when you installed it, because it doesn't if you go to Uninstall it.
I'm still getting the feeling there's something amiss with your files, even though you've uploaded a fresh set.
The gallery mod installed without errors. What would your recommendation be for the site then?
I am a bit confused about the category problem since when looking at the categories, they are shown, so I would assume that they exist.
Sorry for delay in replying, been a tad busy with RL stuff.
Looking at your error log that Wrap theme is spitting errors amounting to 132 pages so far. :o (I know this isn't to do with TP, but I think you need to get that looked at).
When you uploaded a fresh set of SMF files, I'm wondering if some of the old ones didn't get replaced, especially the SMF default theme files.
I think if it was me I'd start there, and make double sure all the file are new.
Please make a backup of all your existing files first if you're going to do this, just in case.
No worries ... I'm not in any hurry.
What I did was to delete all files from the webserver (after downloading them as a backup) and then run a clean SMF install into a different SQL database. I then changed the database in the SMF admin and re-uploaded the old files directory by directory leaving out those that caused problems.
I can replace the theme files as I still have copies of both the old version (prior to all the problems) and the fresh install locally. Will give it a go when I find a few minutes.
