Dear TP friends and supporter,
it happened, that the "Create new topic" function for uploads does not work. The upload work as usual, but not as before, the page would return to the new upload page but no more create a new topic and with it, jump to the new topic.
Do you have any idea of how that could be fixed again or what the problem might be?
Thanks in advanced!

I'll have to take a look when I get some free time to test this. Post back in a few days if you don't here from me in this topic.
Thanks a lot IchBin, and no problem.
Please do not let it cause additional stress.

This function worked fine for me just now. There are a couple of things that must be done when using this. First, you must go to /index.php?action=tpmod;dl=adminsettings and select the "Boards to use for support topics" and save.
Then you select the file to upload, click the checkbox that says "Create New Topic," choose the board to post the topic in, then write the contents of the topic. So easy, it's actually scary. Here's the result of doing that on my test site --> http://www.tinyportal.info/zp/index.php?topic=3.0
ZarPrime
Yes of course ZarPrime, it is a great function and it had worked well for a long time. But since one or three weeks it do not any more and I am not really somebody who modifies here and there and also had not add any mod.
Everything is fine and unchanged with the settings.
Thanks for your care and of course it is good and well to know all this. More then easy and comfortable, but need to be known.

hmm... strange. I just tested this on my site and it seems to be working fine. Do you have any errors in your log or anything related to this?
IchBin,
No, no error messages. It just jumps do the download page and no more to a new created topic after the upload.
Hey, I just thought I'd contribute here, I found the error in my install as well. It is contained in the Text Editor function of the Upload Panel. If you have the BBC editor enabled, you will throw an error for 'editor_id' undefined in your error log. A workaround can be had by disabling the text editor entirely in the TPdownloads settings.
Thanks a lot Asorn, for your hint. I will try this and let you know if that was the cause, thought it was not really changed since the time it had worked, but of course it was partly enabled and disabled and enabled again, for test issues.

I don't think I actually wrote it with the WYSIWYG editor enabled, only the "old" way of text-only, thus it will not deal with any errors created by switching...it should take BBC codes still though, if written in manually(or was that HTML lol, I forget).
TBH I never liked the WYSIWYG option in SMF, and still not do, its the first thing I turn off. :D The preview is much more accurate anyway.

Valued IchBin,
trust that you are well.
Just have some days to access internet and thought of fixing an old problem. Maybe you also have time or others in this moment to help us a little out.
I fund such in the log of SMF:
Apply Filter: Only show the error messages of this URL
http://sangham.net/index.php?action=tpmod;dl=adminitem206
Apply Filter: Only show the errors with the same message
2: filesize(): stat failed for /var/www/vhosts/xxx/xxx/tp-downloads/- empty item -
Apply Filter: Only show the errors from this file
File: /var/www/vhosts/xxx/xxx/Sources/TPdlmanager.php
Line: 3350 is that useful for a diagnosis?
