Title: Articles: Apostrophe Issue
Post by: dan alba on January 28, 2013, 06:52:12 PM
Hey,

I installed tinyportal last week and have had fun creating the forum. However, I'm trying to create an HTML article for the front page and I've noticed a bug...

I can create, tag and save an article, but if there are any apostrophes ('), or quotes (") within the article, the article doesn't save properly; it's instead cut off where the apostrophe (') or quote (") is located.

So, basically, I have to mispell a lot of things in order to save an article.

Anyone know how to fix this weird bug?

Can you fill out the information requested when you create a new topic? Have no idea what to test considering you've given us no details on what you are using. More can be read here:

IchBin™ --

Sorry, after looking at your requested information link, the issue seems resolved. I was using IE 8 previously, and just created a test article using Firefox 18 and it saves the article just fine.

Maybe it's a bug with IE8, not sure, but if I have it come up again, I'll take a screen shot and provide all details requested.

In the meantime, thanks for keeping TinyPortal going. I love this software!
