This is a solicitation for paid work.  We are a professional fireworks company and would like a custom theme for our site.  We have graphics that we want included as well as additional graphics you will have available if .needed.  We will be requesting a complete working theme as well as a little TP setup help.  I know TP can handle the frontpage like i want it to, I'm just having difficulties getting the settings right.  We will need exclusive rights to the theme and while we prefer no copyright we will include you in our sponsor links if desired.  Just about everything is negotiable on this.  We will need work to be done no later th.  an 31 march 2013 although sooneris better.  Payment terms and amount are both negotiable.

Please PM me if you are interested and we can start discussions.

Thank you!

(Posted from my smartphone so please excuse any typos until i can edit and fix them later tonight from my computer.)

Lucutious,

I have looked at your site, and it seems that you have the latest versions of both SMF and TinyPortal installed.  As far as any tips for how to make your site appear the way you want it to with TinyPortal, any of us on the Team here can certainly help you with that.

As for a custom theme, I would recommend you check with a dedicated theme designer who is well versed in themes for the latest version of SMF.  This could certainly be any designer whose work you like and I see at this time that you are using the Inferno theme from DzinerStudio.  Their themes are nice but I am not familiar with their policies regarding custom themes.

My personal preference at this time for custom theme work would be to check with Crip to see if he can do something for you.  His site is located at http://www.jpr62.com/theme/index.php?action=forum and he can certainly code a really nice custom theme per your specifications.  There are a few other advantages to using Crip.  First of all, not only is he a Team member here but he is quite familiar with TinyPortal as well.  In addition to that, another excellent theme designer by the name of Maxx helps with things at Crip's site and I am also a Site Admin over there so I can help as well.  If you have requests for images for the theme, we know of a few people who can help with that as well.  After you have joined up at Crip's site, you might want to look at some of his latest themes.  His latest ones are shown on the FrontPage of his site.

Thanks again ZarPrime.

Regarding the TP tweaks, I'll get to making a mock drawing later this week to show how I'm envisioning it coming up.  I've always used the frontpage panel in conjunction with posts from the forums, so this is just a new setup for me.  I tinkered with it for a bit and couldn't find what I was looking for.

Regarding why I came here for help - to be honest I've used the crap out of SMF and TP for many years on many websites.  I felt that if I was going to pay someone, I should pay someone who has contributed to the products I've used.  I guess it's my way of saying thanks- to give you guys the "first dibs"

I took your suggestion and signed up on Crip's website.  His rules state no custom requests in the forum so I emailed him directly with my request.  Hopefully he'll take up the job at a mutually agreeable price and we can go forward.  I have looked through his themes and while nice, we truly want something unique - thus why we are willing to pay for it.

Regarding images, we have a professional photographer that does our shoots and have been given permission to use any of his shots, so I don't think that'll be an issue.
