That is likely something to do with server configuration. Especially if your download is corrupt after a set amount of megabytes or even a time limit. Your host would have to help you with this one I'm afraid.

I asked my hosting, and this was the response:

-------------------------------------------------------------
This is due to your server being configured as a web server, large files hold open connections that are usually opened and closed very quickly (eg. loading a page).

To maximize your speed and your reliability of the download for large files, might I suggest the use of a file sharing service like dropbox.com, divshare.com or box.com ?
-------------------------------------------------------------

These why put the consultation here.

As I suspected. So unless your host is willing to change the configuration you are stuck with what you get.

Thanks for your answer, Byet (http://byet.org/) will do nothing either.

--------------------------------------------
The configuration of the server as a whole, it is designed and optimized for web hosting services which involves serving millions of small files per hour rather than large files.

Yep, many of the lower priced hosts are setup that way.  At the prices they are charging, it is doubtful you will find many hosts that will let you do everything that you want to do with it.  70 MB is a pretty large file.  /me is marking this topic solved.
