I'll probably end up smacking my forehead for this one but here goes. I set up a new membergroup. That membergroup does not see the main, entry page that has the content block, news, etc. What did I miss?
Have you looked at the permissions for this membergroup? You can specify who you want to be able to view blocks/articles/news with TP and SMF.
*Smacks forehead*. I stumbled across the individual blocks permissions while I was doing something else. Hopefully this helps someone else if for no reason than to get a chuckle at my expense.
