I learned today from Carol's (JPDeni (http://www.tinyportal.net/index.php?topic=13923.0)) Facebook page that she passed away recently, around May 2nd. She had developed liver cancer.
I wanted to take the opportunity to remember her kindness and thank her for all the help she gave me, and countless other people who have passed through the TinyPortal forums, with her knowledge of Code and her sincerity.
My thoughts go out to her family and her husband, Jim.

This is sad news.
Carol was well respected and even loved by those of us on the TinyPortal support team. She is a bright star and we've missed her these many months that she has been absent from our pages. We will miss Carol even more now.

Oh that is really sad. She was one of the first people to teach me how to work on this stuff. She had a lot of patience and knew her stuff. I'm gonna miss her. :'(

very nice post there Ken! She had lots of talent, I had seen the first 2 sites of hers but not her Genealogy one... That looks like it was a massive project to get that all together.
So very sad news indeed. :'( I knew of Carol's illness but I hadn't realized it was so far advanced. She was a great friend to us all. JPDeni, may you rest in peace.
