You can look at those instructions for the part that failed and copy them to a text file or somewhere you can have easy access to it. Continue with the install even upon the failure. After the install is complete you will need to manually make the edit that it failed on.

Of course, you should also make sure you have a full backup of your files before you make any of these changes.
