What version of TP should I download? I just did a Large upgrade of SMF 1.1.13 and all appears to be working except that I don't see TP on the index.php

Hi, and welcome to tinyportal support.
Ok, the small upgrade you applied would leave all your mods installed as was. By doing a large upgrade using the large upgrade package will uninstall all your mods, leaving you with a fresh copy of SMF, with all your users etc intact. You will need to re install your mods. A good time to move to the latest version of Tinyportal. Get it from here, http://custom.simplemachines.org/mods/index.php?mod=97
Thanks lurkalot,
I've downloaded TinyPortal10RC1 and it has a directory named common and 4 named SMFxxx but I don't see any instructions for upgrading.
I still have TP directories in my new large upgrade to 1.1.13 smf directory. It would be nice if I could save what I had in the blocks etc.
Thanks,
Kerry
All the code for your original block should be saved in the database, not in the tp files. So when install the new version it should restore your blocks.
Just upload it and install it should do the trick.
All's well, I just uploaded the unzipped TP directory and via Admin > Main > Packages I clicked install and voila the upgrade to TinyPortal 1.0 RC1 | © 2005-2010 BlocWeb even retained my blocks.
Much thanks,
Kerry
No problem, glad it worked out. O0
