I am only experiencing this in Safari. I had to move the shout box to the left column so that it would quit doing this but if my Shout box is below a HTML box that I have created and I click in the window to make a new shout it takes me to the above blocks link page. Safari 1.0.3 Apple OS X 10.2.8 is the only one that I have seen this in.
This might be an update issue but their is no update for this software in this OS version, just thought I would post it. Odd that it only happens in Safari.
If you have to you can always resort to SMF's 'UltimateShoutBox' mod ...
It would help if you could give us so that we can see exactly what is happening.
What do you mean. Do you want me to move my shoutbox back to the right side. What is happening is the shoutbox form fields are acting like a link to an HTML box that I have above it. So if I have a HTML box that I created to a link in my site and the shoutbox directly below it in a separate box if you click in the shoutbox to post a message it goes to the page that is linked in the above HTML box.
link please?
Delayed reaction..Lol.. ;D

Sorry, I meant to ask for a link but my sentence didn't all come out. :) Crip was on it though. I'm unable to see why that is happening. I don't know anything about how safari handles web code sorry Delayed. Maybe someone with a bit more insite on safari can help.
Does this happen when the scroller is off - or on?
The scroller was on. I also had the shoutbox diabled to Guests. I have rearranged my blocks so this problem would quit.
Then I think the trouble is actually the scrolling code... Have you tried the shoutbox without the scroller on?
