I thought I had asked here but can't find the post. Have been having a weird problem with menu part of TP. I can go to admin>>TinyPortal>>menus
1. I can click on any existing menu to edit--for adding links and there is no add menu option at the right side like there is when you first go to menu manager.
2. Click menu manager and see the add menu both at top and at the left and if i click the add menu link at the right side it will let me add a new link but IT adds it to the very first menu listing I can't choose where anymore.
In addition, when I click the add menu item at the top I can create a new listing but it will not let me add links to it after I click the edit button....taking me back to #1 on my list here
I have no idea when it started doing this for I do not add links often and it gives NO error message at all, it just does not complete the task and sends me back to the menu page or downloads area---that is the strange part.
Ideas of what I need to do..should I reinstall the portal again, I do not want to go to smf2 and the tp for it I am not a fan of the changes in smf2
Does this same problem appear on the default theme? I've just created 8 menu's with items in each of them and don't have any problem adding more items.

You are using TP 1.0 beta 4 on your site. There were some problems with the TP menu system that I believe were fixed when the latest version was released (TinyPortal 1.0 RC1).

As far as I know all menu problems have now been fixed. I suggest that you upgrade to the latest version of TinyPortal as soon as possible.

oh thank you so very much. I have seen the update mentioned but dummy me thought it was for SMF 2 only.

Yes, the latest version works on both the SMF 1.1.x line and the SMF 2.0 line. With as many Mods as you have installed, it's possible that you may have to do a manual install. If you have any problems with it, please start a new topic.
