I am a noob
I just want to change the default color when putting text in the shout box........right now its white but the background is also white. I just need to know where to look and what code to edit.......
I can change the color if you select the option from the BBC but i dont want that showing so anyone who is to put a shout in ..it wont show up
Thanks in advance
well i found the file to change the back ground of the chat bubble so i think i can live with that.
Text color is in the TPShout.css file if you don't want to change the image or whatever.
You should be able to add the font color to .tp_shoutbody class.
rescue119,
As Ichbin mentions, you could, theoretically, do what he mentioned to change the color of the text itself. Right now, the text in the Shoutbox uses the same basic color scheme that the Forum uses (globally). As you correctly surmised, the color of the Shoutbox bubble can be changed rather than changing the text color and this easily suits most sites using a dark theme. Good job on figuring this out. O0
