The problem is that you have a mod(s) installed that have changed the code that TinyPortal is looking for. You'll have to manually look at your file, and add the code that TP needs in there. I would do this if I were you.

1. Make a backup of files and database.
2. Install TinyPortal even though there are errors.
3. Go to the mod page at SMF you will see a parse button on that page. Choose your version of SMF and it will show you the instructions for installing TP manually. Follow the instructions for the Subs.php file and you should be good to go.

If anything fails after you have done this, you can restore your files and database if you need to.

It all depends on what control panel your hosting has, if you know that?

Edit: I see they have cPanel.

i would like to delete SMF and re install it to my cpanel

as i have so many errors and so many unwanted mods that have created the error


how do i go about that

cause if i have fresh SMF aint going to have problems with corrupt files

and then when i download and install tiny portals

no errors

Well, if you don't care about any posts or users in your install, all you have to do is remove the files from your site and remove the database in your CPanel. Then you can install a new one.

With the news that you upgraded to SMF 1.1.12, we marked your topic solved here.  However, it now looks like you have upgraded your Forum to SMF 2.0 RC4.  If you did this by installing the large upgrade package from SMF, this would have removed all of your old Mods, including TintPortal.  This is probably a good thing and will give you a fresh start.  If your old Mods are now gone, you should now be able to install the latest TinyPortal without error.

If this is the case, and you have any further problems installing TinyPortal, feel free to start a new topic and we will be glad to assist you. O0
