Get alot of errors trying in uninstall mods

I uploaded tiny portal from upload packages but got error msgs when installing :

I do have simpleportal I have disabled i do have blocks with content in them not sure if that is an issue

I was usings crips flagrant_alt theme but changed to smf default -curve theme to install tinyportal
Plus i installed SMFADS and cannot for the life of me find the nod in installed mods as i want to delete it from forum


any help would be great

Have you opened the two files in question to see if you can apply the mods manually?

Welcome to the TP Support Site.

The likely reason that you are getting these failures is because another one of your Mods that you installed prior to attempting to install TinyPortal has changed (edited, altered, whatever you want to call it) lines in those files that TinyPortal is looking for during the install.  The most likely culprit is SimplePortal.  TinyPortal will likely not install correctly if your Forum is already using SimplePortal anyway.

Both SimplePortal and TinyPortal give you the same basic functions though TinyPortal does a few things that SimplePortal doesn't do.  You won't be able to use both of those together.  If you want to use TinyPortal, you will need to first uninstall SimplePortal.  In addition, if you have blocks that you created with SimplePortal, they would probably have to be recreated if you installed TinyPortal.

Let us know what you want to do.  If you decide to uninstall SimplePortal, and still get errors while trying to install TinyPortal, one of us can help you.  The choice is yours.
